AGA launches gas guide app for Smartphones!
A simple and practical tool that helps you to find the optimal shielding gas based on your welding method and material.
The gas guide app will help you to choose the right shielding gas for your welding process, and replaces previous printed versions of gas guide and shielding gas poster. It will show country specific choices based on the language version you choose. The English version will show the whole range for Region Europe North.
In addition to English, the app has 7 different languages to choose from (DK, EE, FI, LV, LT, NO and SE), but will recognise which country your phone belongs to. In phase 2 (during summer time) we will also implement a dealer locator. Intention is to further develop this app and add more features in the future. It is also possible to use the app on iPads and other tablets even if the user interface is not optimised for those devices at this stage.
The app will be available from the beginning of June - in App Store for iPhones and in Google Play for Android phones. The app is called AGA Gas Guide and is free of charge.
